Recipes for Success

“Farm to table, farm to bottle, farm to people: that agrarian immediacy, in essence, is for me what makes Walla Walla so appealing.”

Ray Isle, Travel + Leisure

Welcome to “Recipes for Success.” In this corner of The Walla Walla Way, we explore wine pairing: the food our winemakers eat with the wine they make. At times, you’ll find recipes from our winemakers, and other times, you’ll simply find tasty ways to explore our wine region. If you make one of the recipes below, we’d love to see and hear what you thought: tag us on social at @wwvalleywine to be featured. As we like to say, The table is always round.

“Despite its small-town vibe, Walla Walla is hardly provincial. When you eat at Saffron, the Ainsworths’ gözleme, a crisp Turkish flatbread stuffed with house-made lamb sausage, local greens, and smoked yogurt, makes you wonder if you’d somehow teleported to Istanbul.”

Hosted by Chef Andre Bopp, the first season was filmed in Walla Walla and features of our wineries. You can see Episode 1 below, which features Brian Rudin (when he was still at Canvasback) and Ashley Trout (of Brook & Bull Cellars and Vital Wines).
