Blood of Gods is a revelatory collision of two worlds that seem far apart—but share a fierce devotion to craft, intensity, and ritual: heavy metal and wine. What began as a humble zine in 2020 has evolved into a full-bodied biannual magazine, annual festival, and genre-defying movement that decants the darkness and pours with purpose.

Founded by Stacy Buchanan, a Walla Walla-based metalhead and wine-lover, Blood of Gods has earned critical praise from Wine Enthusiast, Decibel, Somm Journal, and Imbibe. With a following that’s diverse, energized, and unafraid, this cult publication brings new blood into the wine world.

Buchanan also spearheads The Annual Merrymaking—a one-of-a-kind festival of wine, metal, and art, slated for July19th, 2025.
