This October, Walla Walla Valley Wine is proudly partnering with the Come Over October campaign, a grassroots initiative that encourages friends, families, and colleagues to come together, share wine, and celebrate meaningful in-person connections. We’ve created a toolkit to provide all the resources you need to help make this campaign a success!

ABOUT COME OVER OCTOBER

Come Over October was created by wine journalist Karen MacNeil and PR veterans Gino Colangelo and Kimberly Noelle Charles DipWSET, under the company Come Together—A Community for Wine Inc. The campaign focuses on encouraging gatherings throughout October, celebrating the power of wine and how it brings people together.

CAMPAIGN GOAL FOR WALLA WALLA VALLEY WINE

Our goal is to reinforce the communal and celebratory nature of wine, encouraging customers to host gatherings during October. By promoting this campaign, we aim to help our community rediscover the joy of connecting with others, whether through intimate dinners, casual gatherings, or winemaker events.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

• Plan Special Events: This could be for your wine club members, a wine shipment add-on, case sale discounts, winemaker dinners, or unique experiences during October.
• Promote Your Events: Share them with your customers and add them to the official Come Over October Local Wine Events website and the Visit Walla Walla Events calender.
• Use Assets: Access the Come Over October website, use the Walla Walla Valley logo treatments and messaging guides to integrate the campaign into your marketing efforts.
