April 2022 is the 3rd Annual Walla Walla Valley Wine Month

Presented Walla Walla Valley Wine and its members, April is the perfect month to honor all the Valley has to offer!

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (April 1, 2022) –Today, Walla Walla Valley Wine is kicking off the third annual Walla Walla Valley Wine Month. Throughout the month of April, the focus will be on celebrating the wine region and experiencing Walla Walla Valley wine through special winery events, promotions and experiences.

The first Walla Walla Valley Wine Month took place in April 2020. April was selected as Walla Walla Valley Wine Month to shine a light on all this time of year has to offer in the region. April marks the return of green to the vines and is home to the first official wine weekend of the year, Spring Kick-Off Weekend. April also happens to be nestled between Taste Washington Wine Month, March, and Oregon Wine Month, May, just as the gem-shaped cross border Walla Walla Valley AVA is positioned.

April is brimming with activity in the Walla Walla Valley, with wineries hosting live music, special dinners, unique tasting experiences and much more. For those who can’t visit the Walla Walla Valley during April, wines are always available for purchase online, with many wineries offering special packages and discounted shipping.

Walla Walla Valley Wine will conduct a social media campaign throughout the month sharing information about the wine region. On WallaWallaWine.com/Event/Wine-Month, consumers can find a list of special offerings for the month ranging from events to wine bundles.

“Walla Walla Valley Wine Month is an exciting time to experience Walla Walla Valley Wine,” says Robert Hansen, Executive Director of Walla Walla Valley Wine. “Interested wine enthusiasts can shop wine in person and online, attend special events, plan a tasting outing, or simply follow along on social media to learn about the Walla Walla Valley AVA and begin planning their next trip.”
