The Walla Walla Valley Wine team will check you in under the last name of the ticket holder. QR codes are helpful as backup. Please bring a valid ID—these are a 21+ events.

Come as you are—polished or relaxed. We want you to feel comfortable all weekend long, whether that means a sundress or your favorite winery t-shirt. This event will take place inside of the Long Shadow’s production studio, where the temperature can dip to around 55°F. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap to keep cozy.

Friday, June 20

Shuttle departs at 9:00 AM sharp & will return after the last vineyard stop

Meet at the Marcus Whitman Hotel (North entrance, near the Explorer Ballroom)
6 W Rose St, Walla Walla, WA 99362
Please arrive by 8:45 AM to check in and board your shuttle.

You’ll travel to three of the Valley’s most iconic vineyard sites:

• Les Collines Vineyard
• Rotie Rocks Estate
• Seven Hills Vineyard

At each stop, you’ll hear directly from vineyard managers and viticulturists about what makes these places distinct—from soils and slope to microclimates and farming philosophies. And you’ll taste wine grown in all three vineyards at the last stop.

You’ll be walking through active vineyard sites, so wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Sunscreen, layers, and a water bottle are recommended. This tour happens rain or shine!

This engaging session will explore the nuance, versatility, and rising relevance of Rhône white varietals like Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Grenache Blanc. You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for how these grapes thrive in the Walla Walla Valley and beyond and offer a fresh counterpoint to the region’s red-dominant reputation.
