WALLA WALLA, WA (August 19, 2021) – Walla Walla Valley wine industry members once again guild Wine Enthusiast’s 40 Under 40 Tastemaker’s list this year. The annual list celebrates people shaping the future of wine, beer, cider, and spirits. This year, representatives of the Walla Walla Valley hail from the vineyard and the winery sides of wine production – the honorees include viticulturist, Sadie Drury and winery president, Jesús Martínez Bujanda Mora.

Drury is the General Manager of North Slope Management and Vineyard Manager and Viticulturist for Seven Hills Vineyard in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. Drury, a Walla Walla native, graduated from Walla Walla Community College’s Institute for Enology & Viticulture, and now oversees six vineyards accounting for 300 acres of grapes in the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Valdemar Estates continues to revolutionize the guest experience in their tasting room, including taking leaps in inclusivity by offering braille menus and QR codes, making the winery accessible to all.
