The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance (WWVWA) is a winery and grower membership organization committed to furthering the awareness of the quality wineries, wines, and vineyards of the Walla Walla Valley Appellation. Our mission is to support and promote quality and excellence in our wine industry and to further national and international recognition of our region.

The organization was formed in the spring of 2001 with 100% of the valley's wineries and 98% of the planted acreage represented. The organization of and cooperation in the valley had effectively taken place for nearly 20 years through the work of enthusiastic volunteers. Eventually, the growth of the wine community and a common desire to solidify and grow these efforts brought about this winery and grower partnership.

The WWVWA:
• Was founded in 2001 with 100% of the valley's wineries and 98% of the planted acreage represented
• Currently represents 71 Winery Members varying in production size from less than 200 cases to more than 50,000 cases annually
• Works with 27 Corporate and Hospitality Affiliate Members
• Has 23 Vineyard Grower Members
• Is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors
• Organizes and executes 5 major events each year for trade, press, and consumers
• Is run by a staff of 4 – Executive Director, Development and Promotions Specialist, Membership Services, and Communications Associate
